Autumn is a time of gathering in, of the summer’s harvest and of all that we need to get us through the cold, long nights of winter. In our churches, it is also a great time of welcome and new beginnings. We start with Back to Church Sunday. Welcome! On All Saints' Sunday (Oct 31st) we welcome young Joel in the morning and many adults in the evening to baptism to new life in Christ.
Over Remembrance weekend, we shall embrace all who come with the heavier loads of grieving for those who have died in war and those who have died in the past year. We shall also remember with thanksgiving all those dear family and friends who have shone with Christ’s light in our own lives...
